2011 Beaujolais Nouveau will be great with your Thanksgiving turkey and ham

I can't wait to uncork my 2011 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau at the table. Another great choice is your favorite sparkling wine or champagne. If you are having smoked ham, try chardonnay that has been aged in oak and has "hints of pineapple." Ham might also be paired with a Riesling.

For dessert, a Beaumes de Venise or Orange Muscat chilled very cold, will go well with fruit pies and whipped cream. Don't forget some bittersweet dark chocolate to go with port or cabernet sauvignon. And, for the purists, port and Stilton cheese, with some roasted walnuts in the shell make for a great end to a feast.
